As we enter the new financial year we are fortunate to have one of the ANZ's key economists
cover the state of play for the Australian economy - what's happening with inflation, employment and consumer spending. Plus ANZ’s views around the outlook over the next 6-12 months, and what it means for SMEs.

Madeline Dunk is an economist in the Australian Economics team at ANZ. She regularly provides commentary on the Australian economy and policy outlook. Prior to joining ANZ, Madeline worked at the Commonwealth Treasury and EY. Madeline has a Master of Economics from the Australian National University.
