Join communication conflict and relationships therapist specialist Tulsi van de Graaff, to learn more about Speaking Up and how to put it into practice.
What's the Plan?
Do you at times find it hard to speak up? Do you find yourself repeatedly thinking about a situation or feeling upset about an interaction yet avoid raising it with the person directly? Do you worry that you will say the wrong thing or feel concerned about the consequences of speaking up so avoid it all together only to then feel bad about yourself or feel that you have let yourself down? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone.
Join us at the Women in Business network of the CBD Sydney Business Chamber to explore strategies to build confidence and help you speak up with Tulsi van de Graaff, communication and conflict expert, mediator and relationship therapist, Dr Holi Birman, social researcher, relational sociologist and 'communicating with care' coach and Robyn Mercer, experienced senior leader, manager, international federation coach and facilitator who has spent her life supporting herself and others to build their power and speak up.
They will work with us to uncover what holds us back from speaking up or having a voice and give us tools and techniques to strengthen our communication skills, build our confidence and find our power. These skills can be applied in business and in your personal lives. This will also be an opportunity to get to know a wonderful and supportive community of like-minded women while learning together.
