The Things We Can Solve Together

The CBD Women in Business Network kicks off the programme for 2019.

In 2018 over 250 Women in Business shared, learned, networked and exchanged ideas in a programme that included: How to Create A Great Workplace, Express, Energise and Empower - a Wellness Workshop, Perfect Your Product and Pitch and the Business Growth Workshops.

In 2019, we are ready for another inspiring year of Women in Business!

It's about continuing to create a strong network of women. We're going to learn more about the challenges we all face, harness our knowledge, skills and experience, solve problems together and create a supportive network that fosters learning and connection.

Towards the end of the workshop, for those interested, there will also be an opportunity to engage in an ongoing mentoring program designed specifically for the Chambers Women in Business Network, powered by the MAP Institute.

This is networking with a difference. Each event will be welcoming, focused on an interesting and worthwhile topic and will encourage comfort and relaxed interaction.

Our first step is to work out the problems we want to solve together and the areas of interest for the coming year. We look forward to having you involved!

What Problems Can We Solve Together?

Facilitated by Tulsi van de Graaff, Partner of BRAVE PEOPLE, a communication and conflict specialist and former lawyer with a psychology, mediation, counselling and investigation background.

Over the course of 2 hours we will have a chance to have a chat and also work out the kinds of problems that we as business people, business owners, leaders and learners can solve together. Some of the topics we'll look at are:
  • What are the key challenges for working women that you'd like to focus on?
  • How do we want to learn from each other?
  • How can we as women help? What help could we use?
  • Are we mentors? Can we be? Is this something we can work on together?
Guest Speakers

Hear from Impact100 - Nicole Shore introduces a group of passionate, like-minded people coming together to create a better Sydney.

Got a great business idea? Natalie Verdon, from Briometrix will share her experiences and the support received through the St George Bank KickStart program - which presents a chance for your business to win one of two $40,000  business grants and take the stage to pitch your idea at TEDxSydney in May 2019.

Your Say!

Over a glass or two of wine and canapes you will get to know other like-minded women as Tulsi helps workshop the problems you'd like to solve together and clarify how the Women in Business Network can be part of that solution.
