This discussion is restricted to lawyers and practitioners with the aim to get to know each other and understand each's respective business focus. We hope this will be the first in a series of regular gatherings.
As a Chamber our purpose is to connect, engage and support like-minded businesses to bring about positive business outcomes.
Recent individual conversations have highlighted opportunities to engage the professional services sector in conversations that might lead to new relationships and collaborative opportunities down the track. To open up conversations that may not be possible in the course of a busy practice schedule.
Our intention is to bring together legal professionals across as wide a range of expertise: commercial law, family law, property, copyright & IP, mergers and acquisitions, marine and more.
We have chosen an early evening time from 5.30 pm and we are working with Matthew Buckley from Buckley Lawyers to facilitate the session.
Direction for this first meeting
A forum for senior members of law firms to connect and get to know each others areas of expertise
We will also welcome Tijana Petkovic, President of the City of Sydney Law Society to provide insights /updates on what membership of the Society provides – and how these might be of value to our contact
