There's nothing better than a good yarn, especially if it inspires you to think differently about your business.
We've all experienced a lock down and restrictions that no businesses have had to cope with in living memory. So given the the positively evolving environment thanks to highly successful vaccination rates, we thought it's about time we caught up over a coffee, face-to-face!
We've invited our host, Paul Brasch, General Manager of The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, to provide us with some inspiration.
Paul's team have seen the worst of it over the period of the pandemic and then a lockdown. His business went from 86% occupancy to 2% and from over 38 staff to 2. So how do you cope and lay the foundations for springing back among your team?
Rather than throw up the hands in despair Paul expanded his thinking - trying new techniques to keep his team together, getting some expert training onboard (through a Chamber introduction) to get them thinking differently and to be ready to start welcoming hotel and dining guests back.
His efforts are inspirational. So we've asked him to share them. Over a coffee.
