Welcome to the first Women in Business Network event of 2021
The CBD Women in Business Network is focused on bringing together women in business through a range of events. Our group comprises business owners, senior women in business, leaders and aspiring leaders who want to learn, share and grow both personally and professionally. We work toward harnessing our knowledge, skills and experience to create a supportive network that fosters learning and connection.
A great programme is shaping up but we'd like your input
Speakers and content: we are fortunate to have Tulsi van de Graaff, Partner with Brave People Solutions as our facilitator and communications expert extraordinaire. But we'd like you to share some thoughts on our planned content. So, you are invited to register for our first Women in Business Network evening over drinks where we'll share some feedback that you have already provided and listen to your thoughts.
Times and venues: well before the pandemic you had indicated the desirability for some flexibility. Some preferred evenings and others were more comfortable with sessions over a light lunch. Given the improving public health conditions the 2021 programme can feature a combination of these and maybe even some virtual events.
To get the sparks flying
This first event will be relaxed over a glass of wine and canapes in a handy Sydney CBD location.
We plan to have some inspiring conversations around the challenges and opportunities that have emerged over the last 12 months. We'll also introduce Anne McKeon from 2Mpower Coaching whose passion is is around empowering professional women to step up, speak up and show up with confidence in business and life.
Tulsi van de Graaff Partner, Brave People Solutions is a communication and conflict specialist and former lawyer with a psychology, mediation, counselling and investigation background. She specialises in solving the communication, conflict, conduct and culture challenges and creating impressive teams, great people and inspiring leaders.
Anne McKeon is an executive coach who combines her own experience with NLP techniques. She has created a step by step Process for Success that shows how to reignite the spark in your life and work, so you feel happier and more successful every day. Bringing over 25 years experience from working in Corporate, Higher Education and the Voluntary sector, as well as running my own coaching business since 2015.
Who Should Be Involved?
If you are a business owner, manager, hold or aspire to hold senior positions and interested in leadership, this is the network with which you should be involved. Everyone benefits from the content. If what we're doing sounds interesting, please join us. Members, Non-Members/Guests are welcome.

Due to the current restrictions and the implementation of a strict COVID Safe policy, numbers are limited. Once we reach in-person capacity, we will no longer be able to accept further registrations.
