Welcome to the first- ever series of Women in Business Network
virtual workshops and networking

As you know the CBD Women in Business Network focuses on harnessing our knowledge, skills and experience to create a supportive network that fosters learning and connection.

And we are going to continue to grow, while growing our connections in a new virtual environment.

Key things to know:

- There will be three workshop sessions over 3 weeks, attend one, two or all 3
- They'll be shorter, but just as engaging - start at 12, finish at 1.15 pm
- Numbers are limited so participants have an opportunity to introduce each other and keep connections going

Communication and Challenge: How to do the best for you and others in uncertain times

Tulsi van de Graaff leads this series. A consistent theme of challenge for people and organisations in this time has been the deterioration of communication and the increase of conflict. Stress, anxiety, different mediums of communication and uncertainty impacts on the way we feel, the way we connect with others and the way we resolve issues.

Tulsi, a communication and conflict expert, will take us through key techniques to build and strengthen the foundation and skills to manage challenging emotions, effectively communicate, connect to others and resolve conflict.

The virtual event program
Part 1 was presented on 4 May: Self awareness and self regulation and Part 2 on 11 May: What is conflict? Your right to speak up. Clarifying values and expectation.

The final workshop in this series of three is:

19 May
12 to 1.15: Part 3: Raising concerns. Key communication formulas and skills. Kindness and care.
