Welcome to the first workshops of 2020: Created specifically for women in business
The CBD Women in Business Network focuses on harnessing our knowledge, skills and experience to create a supportive network that fosters learning and connection.
This Improving Your Business Series of workshops/presentations focuses on professional, business and personal improvement over a number of sessions during 2020.
Peer-to-peer learning and an expanded network
The most recent workshop Managing Yourself & Others in Times of Change & Challenge was a sold-out session.
The content was specifically crafted to enhance the confidence and capabilities of women in business - while creating opportunities for discussion, for peer-to-peer learning and an expanded network of like-minded women. Inspired, fun, practical, engaging and interactive.
Improving Your Leadership Skills: How to live and lead bravely
In this practical and interactive workshop we will explore how to live and lead bravely, inspired by the work and research of Brene Brown.
We will focus on:
- Vulnerability: the heart of living and leading bravely
- Values: finding and living your values
- Setting boundaries: what’s okay and not okay
- Choosing courage over comfort: having the conversations you need to have
- Improve Your Business Self: Four steps to emotional agility
- Improve Your Business Relationships: How to have those B.R.A.V.E conversations
- Improve Your Business Culture: Manage difficult behaviours

These workshops are designed to appeal to business women who may be owners, managers, hold or aspire to hold senior positions and leaders generally although everyone who attends will benefit from the content.
