CBD Women in Business Network| Creating Space. Discussion Over Drinks | 29 April

Continuing to re-think the narrative.
Creating space for women - thinking beyond quotas

At our recent International Women's Day event the panel talked about how business and organisations are actively working toward balancing the scales.

This next CBD Women in Business get together will be a relaxed evening over drinks and canapes to expand that on that theme of re-thinking the narrative around how we can individually create space for women in business to grow - professionally and personally -
regardless of gender and seniority. This discussion welcomes men and women.

What does it mean to you? How can you contribute to creating space? Are quotas the default "how to" or are there other ways? What do you see in your own professional environment or might you have contributed to initiating.

The discussion will be lead by
Ruchi Motial-Suri, Founder & Principal Consultant - Success Culture and supported by Melanie Philippou, Senior Strategist with The Sherry Agency,

Ruchi believes that leadership is about creating empowered teams – combining good people with excellent processes to create high performing environments. She founded Success Culture, a consulting firm with a focus on creating impactful and influential everyday leaders and teams.

Melanie is a creative thinker, innovative strategist and Sherry’s resident Gen Z. Beyond Sherry, Melanie is deeply involved in youth mental health advocacy, contributing to batyr as a Non-Executive Director, Lived Experience Storyteller and National Youth Advisory Group Co-Chair – work she’s most proud of for its real-world impact.
