Let's toast the year ahead
Not withstanding the challenges of 2021, as a group we still managed to keep the communication flowing over six check-in sessions through August & September plus a great session introducing The Femeconomy presented by Alicia Beachley during October. Hopefully, we can look forward to an improved outlook for 2022 as the health situation stabilises and improves.

No presentations or speeches, just the opportunity to connect and re-connect with some of the dynamic women that are part of this group.
One of these is Shazia Imran, artist and owner of AAD Gallery located in the laneways of The Rocks. Shazia is generously opening the doors of her gallery - adorned with paintings and sculpture - for us to enjoy (also a great opportunity to do that 'must do' shopping while there. What about some art?).
Shazia's work has been exhibited internationally and hangs in public and private collections in Australia, USA, UK, Hong Kong, Thailand, China and Singapore.
In Sep 2019 she completed a large commission project for luxury VIP accommodation, The Mansion, for MGM hotel in Macau. Six of her pieces are in Rajamangala University Thailand's collection. Her work also recently has been acquired by His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Ahmed Bin Juma Al Maktoum.
She has won many national and international awards including Lorenzo il Magnifico Award at the Florence Biennale 2015, Applied Arts Award at the London Biennale 2017, Most Collectible Artist Award at Shenzhen City Art Fair, First prize at the 2018 Chianciano Biennale, 2nd prize International Confederation of Art Critics Award 2019 London Biennale and multiple awards in Australia.
Everyone is welcome and it will be a COVID Safe event
A strict COVID Safe policy will be maintained including:
- The need to be double vaccinated to attend

- Limited numbers will be able to attend for appropriate social distancing
