Improving Your Leadership Skills Through a Better Understanding of Diversity

Diversity - this is an important topic that was consistently mentioned during feedback to our last session.

What's genuinely meant by diversity? How does it impact how we communicate, manage our teams and demonstrate leadership - to build more successful businesses and relationships.

One interpretation is that "diversity is about what makes each of us unique and includes our backgrounds, personality, life experiences and beliefs, all of the things that make us who we are".

This will be an interactive workshop

For organisations to be successful in today’s world, Diversity is a no-brainer. Challenges faced today are quite different to anything we have seen before – workforce comprising of 4 generations, a largely global multi-ethnic population, hybrid work culture post Covid-19, integration of differently abled people, gender fluidity and many more.

The question can be quite mind boggling!

  • How do you influence such a diverse workforce?
  • How do you work out the rules of managing them as one team when they are so different?
  • How do you make sure you haven’t offended anyone, despite having the best intentions?
  • How do you even work out what the ‘right’ behaviour?
 Let's explore:
  • True meaning of ‘Diversity’
  • How do you make ‘Inclusion’ happen
  • How do you create your communication and approach so you can tap into the true potential of your diverse team and make success happen
