The challenges and opportunities for Women in Business: there's so much to talk about
Join us for this morning session with Tulsi van de Graaff communication, conflict and relationships specialist over coffee and croissants!
Let's talk, network and work out better ways to support you and your business
This will be a great networking and connecting session.
Over recent weeks the team has been discussing the challenges and opportunities that our women in business must manage.
We've reviewed the feedback provided through our own research conducted in May, the trends the experts are identifying, the feedback to training opportunities presented through BSI Learning, the issues around mental health and the pressures around managing the cost of living and its impact on the cost of doing business. These and other issues impact on how we do business and how we manage and communicate with those around us including as leaders, with our teams, our colleagues, our customers and clients and as individuals with friends and family.
So as we start this new (financial) year what strengths do you need to build on, what support do you need from your Women in Business peers, from the Business Chamber and your business community? What do we need to think about differently and do differently in order to be stronger, happier and more successful in business and your relationships?
Over recent time we have hosted presentations and workshops covering a variety of topics including: The 5 Top Communication Mistakes to Overcome; Brave Empathy; Speaking Up; Creating Communication For Connection; Why We Publish and Beyond Tension: Finding connection, clarity and calm.
This breakfast session will be an opportunity to talk about what matters in business and deliver some thoughts on how to proactively respond to the current environment. We will also give you an opportunity to provide your feedback on how we can support the strengths of our women in business - in workshops, through mentoring as a support strategy and how to more effectively connect women in business to build real and sustainable business relationships and opportunities.
Time to Network and to Learn
Tulsi van de Graaff, communication and conflict expert, mediator and relationship therapist and Dr Holi Birman, social researcher and relational sociologist will lead a practical and engaging discussion around brave empathy, including how to overcome empathy blockers and have tender and strong communication that enhances our connections - both at and away from work.
