Event Description:

Businesses are struggling under the weight of the current skills shortage

In the CBD & surrounds the shortage is critical. Whether it be retail, hospitality/tourism, IT, project management, law, finance or health services – it’s real. According to a recent report* by HAYS the most in-demand skills include project managers, civil engineers, recruitment specialists, payroll officers – followed by software developers, personal assistants, communication and digital specialists, contract admin, lawyers and finance specialists. And this excludes hospitality and tourism.

Let’s help build CBD teams right now

The Chamber has Members which specialise in training in diverse management and business skills, recruitment, team culture development and immigration that can potentially fill gaps and create teams. Let’s tap into that expertise! Let's be part of the solution.

Tell us which roles you are looking to fill

This lunch is a working meeting followed by networking where you can:
  • identify roles/jobs you have to be filled right now
  • hear from our panel on their expertise and how they can assist
  • meet and talk with their teams around the room
Lunch will comprise a selection of sandwiches, hot canapes (assorted mini quiches and assorted gourmet pie) & Coffee/Tea.

Add them to our digital jobs board

All roles/jobs identified can be added to the Chamber’s Members-Only Job Board to further look to identify potential solutions.

The objective is to actively help address the issues within the CBD by bringing together expertise that provide employment solutions and advice
